MRI Services

Breast MRI is an evolving technology and does not replace standard screening and diagnostic mammographic examination. However, MRI has been shown to detect small breast lesions that may not be apparent on mammography.

MRI can successfully image dense breast tissue and breast implants. MRI is in fact the imaging method of choice to evaluate breast implants and to check for ruptures or leaks.

MRI also allows visualisation of the muscle and chest wall in the vicinity of the breast.
